Art.Ba - Barcelona's Art Residency

Art.Ba is an art residency, a knowledge-sharing platform that bridges visual and fine art creators with the local market, upgrading the already distorted identity of Barcelonetta through art and cultural events. A group of art experts, researchers, and curators comprise Art.Ba's creative team. Working along with the residents, the team assists and supervises their work during all the phases of the design process, cultivating them a collective mindset within the residency. The members could either team up or work individually taking part in workshops and exhibitions developing their aptitudes and gradually building a solid network with local pioneers. Art.Ba's mission is inclined to sustainability as well as to the circular economy, encouraging the artists to utilize and convert the adjacent shipyard's waste into art.
